The scwtpeds.com database is an edited compilation of dogs from
breeders around the world and from published sources. Every attempt is made to ensure accuracy in providing you a complete genetic
record of all SCWTs used for breeding. We hope to:
supplement scientific research with accurate pedigrees
give breeders access to as many SCWT pedigrees as possible
give breeders a visual record of these SCWTs
improve communication between breeders about health issues
Access to this site is free to breeders and owners of SCWTs who believe in the welfare of the Breed; it is why we ask for contributions to the Genetic Research Fund. A username and password are required and allow you to:
look up your dogs and create pedigrees up to 10 generations long
see photos of Wheatens from around the world
generate pedigrees for your planned breedings
look up a potential sire's or dam's siblings, half-siblings, and progeny
generate reverse pedigrees
